Special Events

Pre-Registering Policy for Special Classes.  If you have registered for a special practice (i.e. Advanced Mind/Body Yoga and Restorative) and are unable to attend, cancellation within 24 hours is required.  If you do not you will be charged for that practice from your membership or sent an invoice. Membership covers these practices, without membership they are $18 for a drop-in.  In your absence we hope you will want another Half Moon yogi or friend to enjoy the benefits of the practice, understanding spaces are limited.
Yoga is meant to be applied to the individual. These special practices are developed for that unique purpose. As your yoga teacher, when I know you are coming and have a sense of what you might be seeking, I can then be most prepared to serve you.

PRANAYAMA in PRACTICE, Saturday, February 3rd, 9:30-1 (snack & tea included).  Pre-registration is required for this event.

Pranayama in yoga practice is a powerful, transformative tool that is often not well understood.  In order to prepare a student for seated pranayama, meaningful adaptation of the breath is important in an asana sequence.  Deepen your understanding of pranayama teaching techniques and gather some ideas for your own practice, while accumulating required continuing education credits.  This is a Yoga Alliance Certified Continuing Education event for yoga teachers but would also be interesting to regular yoga practitioners who desire a deeper understanding of pranayama in their own practice.  Julie was initiated into pranayama by Master teacher Gary Kraftsow.  Spaces are limited, please register early to hold your spot.  Fee is $35.
